Born in the maritime sector, Groupe SNEF retained its high standards and rigor to further its development in the Industry, Energy and Infrastructure sectors, then in the Service sector. A development strengthened by the acquisition of Fouré Lagadec, Ekium, Predict, Mios, Brinel and Sequor. Hence, we are design, integration and maintenance specialists in the fields of electricity, telecommunications, industrial processes, mechanics and industry 4.0.
On the lookout for technical progress from the outset, Groupe SNEF’s offers services targeting new technologies. SNEF LAB (renamed iQanto), created in 2018, runs this project in keeping with all other business lines as follows.
SNEF is the lead company of the Group. It encompasses all historic businesses of the Group: electrotechonology, industrial processes (instrumentation, control systems, automation), IT professions and telecommunications, service maintenance and environmental engineering. SNEF Power Services’s offer is more specifically geared towards Nuclear operators.

As part of the Offshore Patrol Vessel (PH) program, designed to strengthen France's maritime presence across its three metropolitan coastlines, CIEL, a company of the Snef Group, is designing and developing onboard communication bays, in partnership with Naval Group and Thales.
🎯 The challenge: to integrate robust and secure communication systems aboard these new vessels, while meeting the extreme constraints of the marine environment (mechanical shocks, severe weather conditions, electromagnetic compatibility).
🧩 The mission covers three main phases:
🔧 This represents recognition of CIEL's expertise in embedded electronics, mechanical integration, and critical environments, serving the strategic needs of the French Navy.

This Tuesday, July 29, at exactly 8:38 AM, the IMOCA TeamWork - Team Snef crossed the finish line in Cherbourg in fifth position, after 2 days, 20 hours and 8 minutes at sea.
From the moment they left the Solent, the team took the lead of the fleet, setting a sustained pace and demonstrating the boat's ability to position itself at the forefront. Cohesion, determination, and commitment were the key words on board, enabling them to achieve the best result of the IMOCA program launched in 2022.
🎙️ Justine Mettraux reflects on the race:
"We managed to maintain very good momentum to make the boat perform. Sailing as a crew allowed me to learn even more about my IMOCA."
