Manufacture of exchangers for a Normandy refiner. The particularity of these exchangers lies in the Rod Baffle baffle, intended to reduce the pressure drop. Unlike conventional exchangers equipped with baffles forcing the fluid to follow a defined path, this concept (designed by Phillips Petroleum) considerably reduces the pressure drop on the shell shell side of the exchanger and eliminates dead flow areas in the bundle.
