“7 Commitments for Safer Roads” Convention: Groupe Snef commits to the safety of its employees on the roads!

This Friday, September 29, Florence Guillaume, Interministerial Delegate for Road Safety, and Isabelle Dreau, Deputy General Manager of Groupe Snef, signed the "Charter of the 7 Commitments for Safer Roads" at the Tour la Marseillaise, alongside Benoît Houssay, Head of Groupe Snef's Safety Policy.

Professional road accidents (commuting and mission accidents) are still the leading cause of mortality at work. Through the manifesto of the "7 Commitments for Safer Roads," launched by the government, Groupe Snef responds to the national call from employers for road safety and commits to the safety of its employees on the roads with the goal of achieving "zero accidents."

• Restrict phone conversations while driving to emergency situations.
• Promote sobriety on the road.
• Mandate the use of seat belts.
• Do not accept exceeding authorized speeds.
• Include rest breaks in the calculation of travel time.
• Promote training in road safety.
• Encourage motorcyclists and cyclists to equip themselves better.

"This institutional pact aims to raise awareness among all Groupe employees and highlight the right behaviors to adopt. These seven commitments should significantly reduce road risks. Each employee must, therefore, take ownership of them and apply them with the utmost rigor," emphasizes Benoît Houssay.

“Snef Day” launches in Marseille!

Groupe Snef’s General Management inaugurated its regional "Snef Day" tour in Marseille on Tuesday, September 5.

This annual event brought together over 600 employees from the Mediterranean and South-West regions at the Silo. The day, marked by the sharing of our strategy, our values and the ambition of Team Snef, gave rise to an exciting and energizing meeting.

It was an opportunity to provide new perspectives to the entire Team Snef, and to highlight the Group's emblematic and stimulating projects with a focus on our key thematic topics: energy, decarbonization, digital and sovereignty.

Alongside Xavier Macaire, our skipper who will be at the start of the Transat Jacques Vabre on October 29, our Team Snef Sailing ambassadors, Jean-Baptiste Bernaz, Noé Delpech and Lauriane Nolot (recently crowned world kitefoil champion) came to talk about their year of preparation for the international sailing events set in Marseille in July 2024.

The tour will then stop in Bucharest, Le Havre, Brest, Paris, Lyon to meet Groupe Snef’s employees. These events celebrate our company's history and success, and reinforce our team spirit and core values.

Groupe Snef supports three high-level athletes as part of Marseille 2024

In less than 400 days, Marseille will host the international Olympic sailing events.

A Marseilles-based company for almost 120 years, and firmly anchored in its local community, Groupe Snef has decided to reinforce its commitment and values through sports sponsorship with the Fondation du Sport Français. This affiliation is a strong marker for the Group, as it takes part in the local economic life and ensures a long-lasting activity.

Groupe Snef is proud to announce this sponsorship with the selection of the three best top-level athletes in their disciplines: Lauriane Nolot (kitefoil world vice-champion in 2022), Jean-Baptiste Bernaz (Sailing Laser world champion in 2022), Noé Delpech (49er world vice-champion in 2018).

These athletes, brought together under the "Team Snef Sailing" banner, will act as ambassadors alongside skipper Xavier Macaire, a Class 40 ocean racer. The Team Snef brand builds on our long-standing partnership with sailing, which places safety, preparation, effort and agility at the heart of a demanding sport, as close as possible to a nature that leaves no room for improvisation.

Through this new partnership, Groupe Snef is reaffirming its attachment to its region and its commitment to sailing and decarbonizing the economy.
